This morning Year 1 managed to get outside first thing, for probably the only P.E lesson of this week, before it gets too hot! We practised our underarm and overarm throwing, before making up our own target games using these skills!
A busy month! The children had a visit from FAB Science. Our visitor wowed the children with some amazing experiments. The children were mesermerised. A huge thank you to ACFA for organising such a FAB event.
Year 1 had a great time planting some seeds for the bees , sent from @JustBeeHoney! We’re pleased to report they are already growing too! 🌱

Y1 had a wonderful trip to Bewilderwood with the rest of KS1. Despite the rain, the children had a brilliant day doing lots of excellent activities!
Y1 had a lovely Music lesson, acting out actions as an elephant to accompany the song 'The Elephant' in our first music lesson of the half term!

Year 1 enjoyed a Cluster Athletics Event, working around stations including; Standing Long Jump, Hurdles, Javelin and Around the World Throwing and Catching. It was lovely for the children to be able to mix with other children and have lots of fun. Thank you to Year 1's at Tilney All Saints and Emneth Academy for joining us. Also, a huge Thank you to The Fruit Pig Company for donating ice-lollies for the event.

We were lucky enough to have Mr Wilkinson visit with his sheep! We asked lots of questions and were given lots of very interesting information about lambs and looking after sheep. We got to feel their wool and stroke the one week old lamb! Thank you Mr Wilkinson!

Class 1 and Class R went on an amazing trip to Sacrewell Farm this month.
All the children had a brilliant time throughout the day, feeding the animals, learning the history of the mill and enjoying the beautiful sunshine!

Class 1 have had a visit from an ambulance, with a crew who showed us all of the equipment they have to carry. We even had a look inside the ambulance and got to try on their uniform!
